We recommend professional cleaning within two weeks of your wedding day. The longer stains remain, the harder they are to remove — even invisible ones like champagne or perspiration can oxidise and yellow over time.
We strongly advise against home cleaning for bridal gowns. Delicate fabrics, embellishments, and structured bodices require specialist handling. Always entrust your gown to a professional bridal cleaner.
Store your gown in an acid-free box with acid-free tissue paper. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Avoid plastic garment bags — they trap moisture and can cause yellowing.
Hanging is not recommended for long-term storage as it can distort the shape and strain delicate seams. Fold gently with tissue paper and lay flat in a preservation box.
